Your Worth A Poem

I want to open up to you.
I want to share myself
Tell you things
I have told nobody else.

Do you want to know?
Do you want to be my confidante?
Do you know what it would mean?
It would mean I trust you enough
To share my deepest thoughts.

When I tell you stuff
Whether good or bad
I get this feeling
That you would offer
Me a hug
That is how much
I feel you want to show
Your comfort
And that you don't judge.

So do you get the gist?
That I am thinking
You are heck
Of a special person?
who is head
And shoulders above the rest?
Yes, you are all that!
Maybe you know this
Maybe you doubt your gifts
But I will shout it
From the mountains
And rooftops if you want.
That is how sure I am
Of your worth!
