The Effect Of Your Voice A Poem

I missed your voice
I could hear you talk
All night long.
But you said
You were tired.
Your voice huskier than usual
Your tiredness discernible
So we agreed to
End the call.
You with A TTYL
Which I had to have
You repeat
As I couldn't understand
It sounded so garbled.

I said goodnight
And thank you for calling.
I got my fix
Of your voice
For the moment.
It's like a weight
Was lifted off.
Seriously that is how
It felt.
I could sigh now
Breathe easier
Your voice like
A comforter
When a chill is in the air.
That fills me
With such warmth.

Some folks believe in<b> pheromones
</font></b>For me it's an auditory attraction.
We have joked
That you ain't no
Barry White
That is true
But you might
Be comparable
To Sam Elliot
And Seth Rogan.
One is an inveterate ladies man
The other a character/comedian.

You know well
Your effect on me.
Not sure you really believe
I am telling the truth.
Keep talking baby
You will have your proof.
