Of A Like Mind A Poem He made me think That sex with him Would not end Like it has with other men. A feeling of emptiness Once the act was finished. One act plays Would not be our forte Although they might occasionally Have their place. We would have many stages Foreplay would be on display Given the attention That it craves. As it does it's duty. It would earn it's w finally As an integral part Not to be skipped Or thought unnecessary. And the aftermath! Ah! The cuddling! And the conversation The silence that would not be empty But full of possibilities. Thoughts swirling and forming As our fingers kept circulating Over each other's bodies. Emptiness would be a thing Of the past As our connection Would be as solid As one can get. Such wishful thinking! But it is what is aspirational In a future partner If only I find such a one That is of a like mind. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |

What a great poem. It really is a great description of what we all want i reckon. Sex is great but an affectionate cuddle afterwards makes it that much better!
