Possibly Being A Rag Doll A Poem
Possibly Being A Rag Doll A Poem I wanted to write you a letter Pour out my thoughts But then I though better As you might not care What I had to say And have little interest. But the thoughts They do need sharing If only with myself The pros and cons Of our interactions And if we should Continue on. You said some wonderful things They really were sweet But then you had things come up Again and again Delaying our meeting. I understand you are busy Your time is limited. In that vein I gave you leeway But my impatience And anxiety are growing With each passing day. I feel like a rag doll So wrung out am I Thinking positive one moment And negative the next Like I was played with But then discarded. Play has not been part Of our equation. That had yet to be. So perhaps a rag doll Is not the best analogy. I should sleep on it! Maybe tomorrow you will Finally have some certainty And I can make a decision Based on reality Not something I have come To worry about Like you were just Leading me on. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |

Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. There are four seasons in a year. "Rag Doll" is a song known by all. You do seem more at odds, dear.

I hope something does come of your chats with this guy. It is horrible to get your hopes up after being led on and then nothing happens. Perhaps it is time you to take control of the situation and suggest a time and place. If excuses are made then you know it is time to move on.
