Heartless. A Poem
Heartless. A Poem You didn't know my heart You didn't even look I have to reconcile That I meant so little I was a means to an end Someone to be used I am a grown woman This is very true But I am also deserving Of some consideration Some affection Which was something You couldn't do. There is more to the story But it paints me In such a pathetic light That it hurts to discuss. Like I said I have to reconcile That I made a mistake Where you are concerned. I have to file you away Another regret How many days Will it take For the pain to fade? It's not that you hurt me Worse than any other It is just that I was wrong To get involved With someone so heartless. But to be fair That was only revealed With time And your actions. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |

You know my stance on the subject my lady Better to have loved and been hurt, than Keep staring at the ubiquitous garden door, sending smoke signals - at least this pain and anger reminds you're alive Cheers -P

I guess it goes without saying we are human and prone to our mistakes , forgive and forget but learn also .

You don't know what you don't know... don't beat yourself up for believing what was presented was the truth. When people deceive you, that's on them, not you. (hug)

When you believe in someone there is always a chance of being hurt. If it happens you need to take time to figure out what happened and try to work out if you could have seen it coming. It is a cliche I know but we do learn from our mistakes!
