Sending Out A Smoke Signal. A Poem

Where have you gone?
Have you gone on vacation
Or into hibernation?
Have you lost your voice?
Have you nothing to say?
How could that be?
You of the thousands of ideas
And millions of words.
Have you felt useless
That you were not being heard?
I am here now to tell you
I have missed you.
Your absence
Has left a void.
My inspiration has suffered
Without your words
To bounce off of!

I think I have made this foul
Cry of loss before
You came back then
Will this message reach you
Like an old fashioned smoke signal?
I guess time will tell.

 Hope time has been good to you beautiful. I didn't see before how beautiful your poems are and stimulating to our minds as well. I will have to come back and do your words justice when I have more time. Methinks I will need "hours" lol... I look forward to it as this one caught my eye, my attention, and also my praise keep up the awesome work!!! kisses for a belated "mom's day" to ya too!!
