Living In The Moment. A Poem There will come a day, When I will tell Another sad story. But can I withhold It for now While the action Takes place? While I try to embrace Living in the moment? It's not just for my sake But for the other participant. He deserves my full attention Not divided by doom And worry. Although that is in The back of the mind. Ready to pounce Without notice. Living in the moment Enjoying the time. Enjoying the now I could take a advice From a Buddhist Or Eckhart Tolle As that is what They avow. I could become Their poster If the lesson is learned And put into practice. But just for good measure I will keep my fingers crossed Just in case That tips the scale And brings me luck.
