Just Some Thoughts A Poem

I wrote this poem 2 years ago.

So I am not as smart as I thought I was.
But I am just enough to admit that to myself.
My thoughts are not always the right ones
And even when they are correct
They can be seen leaving to parts unknown.
My memory loss I would sooner forget.

I give myself a daily lecture.
Sometimes with or without a mirror.
I speak out loud at times
But more often than not I am silent
The voice only heard in my head.

The agreement I get
Well I am not sure it will ever be complete.
I would not be placing any bets
Unless it would be on the defeat.

So while I live and learn
I try to discern
What works best for me.
I know that I would love a companion
For life's journey
If only to occasionally be in the drivers seat.
As driving alone non stop can be quite wearying.
Not to mention boring!

Just some thoughts
That have occupied me.
There are plenty left
But still room for a vacancy.
You could be a dear
And take up residence
But only with the right currency.
Hopefully I will recognize it
When I see it!

and on here, parts of it are stolen....

the letters, o, n, e, together form a word, and also are part of words, and yet all three together are deleted by this site on these blogs...

while an s and a c together, also seems to be removed, crippling those words where an s and a c are in the normal run of spelling alongside each other...

and the co-driver analogy is good...two folks heading to a similar destination, choosing to be in the vehicle together...

Thoughts in sensual pleasure to erotic writing writ.

The first two lines of the poem made me smile, very clever I thought. I like the thinking behind this one and hope you find that co driver very soon. Make sure you are both reading the same map book and want to go to the same destination when you find him eh?

If money was no option; I'd gladly be the currency and spend a lot of time with you.
