I Am Something Else. A Poem

I am something else
According to some folks
They laugh at my stories
They laugh at my jokes.
Since I love to laugh
It's all good.

But I am also beset
By sadness
That garners frowns
And offers
Of hugs.
Which I accept
Whether real
Or just on line.

Why do I mention this?
We all have our moments.
Hopefully there are more
Highs than lows.
In that wish
I am sure
I am not alone.

 Life is a road over a bumpy landscape. For every hill we climb there is a valley to drive through on the other side.
