People Seem Interchangeable

I imagine that you are
Chatting with someone new.
I have to accept
That is something
You will do.
It had to happen
Sooner or later
For you are
In search
Of a partner.
I am just too
Far away.

We had a great rapport
But still we held each
Other at arm's length
We seemingly were
On our best behavior
Even though we were
On an adult website.

It is just life!
People seem interchangeable
If one person
Does not do it all
For you
You can just move on.

What does it say
About your loyalty?
Your faithfulness?
Your fidelity?
Synonyms about
Allowing another
To be revered.
Not necessarily love
Or even commitment
But an appreciation
For another person's
Uniqueness and
Contribution.

 I would not call it commitment or love. To say that would be silly and a lie but I do find myself drawn to reading your thoughts. I am not sure I could ever be as bold and brave as you to expose myself to others as you do.
