Money well spent. . . ?
During my travels I saw some really beautiful trucks, most of which I saw during the trucker jamboree at the Iowa 80 one summer. They have a weekend of live music, truck show, competitions both in and out of trucks, food etc. etc. etc. It was a cool experience but once was enough

I would think, "Very cool of course, but damn, is that money well spent?" I can think of better ways to spend "extra"(?) money...but that's just me

I apologize for the grey tone of these pictures, it was my first digital camera and not a good one...overcast that day too. The first picture was at a truckstop and the rest were from the truck show...

 these are some beautiful looking trucks. Must make them cry when they get a dent or smashed up in a crash.

I'm fairly certain they only drive these trucks on a limited basis and only during optimal weather. I couldn't imagine having to keep it clean during a daily driving situation

I know exactly what you mean. Although I love the intricacies of these fantastic custom rigs I ponder the amount of money as well as time to get it done. There would be so many other more productive uses for that money, but that's just me

Soooo many lifelong drivers swear by this truck or that truck, but the truth in my opinion is personal comfort. A driver usually prefers a truck he's more familiar with and most likely has had the best luck driving. For me it was not really an issue of the truck's performance (Werner's are governed at 65) but the amount of space inside for storage and "living"
