Sports

So I have been told that my love of sports, especially football in particular makes me somehow less of a "woman" to some guys. Well I think that is absolute bs! As I have clearly stated I was born and raised a country girl which means I grew up being active in sports (as well as other things ). I played everything from basketball to softball but the closest I could get to football was cheerleader and so that is what I did. I love football, especially college football. I'm a UVA and BAMA girl and make no apologies for it! I'm not one of those girls who watch it just for the guys in the tight pants or the hot players. Although, if Jadeveon Clowney, J.J. Watt, or Big Ben showed up on my doorstep I certainly wouldn't send them away lol . I like to watch the game itself with the hits, the big plays, etc...I don't think this makes me less of a woman. I think it makes me more intense if anything lol. So if you are looking for the dainty, sophisticate little filly...I ain't it! I am more of the no holds barred, free spirit filly who isn't afraid to get my hands dirty and I am proud of it.

You've been told your less of a woman because you like sports? You're right, that's BS. Okay, not all men are into sports, but as one who is, I would think it ideal to find a woman who likes sports

As a woman, being "into" sports most certainly does not make you less feminine. It just makes you a woman who likes sports. I've known some VERY feminine women who loved sports and knew way more about them than most guys.

Sounds like the guy who told you that was threatened by you. Good for you!!

Save a horse, ride a cowboy!!

Love of sports makes you somehow less of a "woman". That is an absolute combination of bull/dog/horse and green baby shit. Most of my gfs have been into sports of one kind or another. Several did crew stuff for me when I was racing. And they were ALL WOMAN. It is something men and women can share and have fun with. Whoever says that is a dumbass.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
