Stand the storm


The sky darkens and the breeze turns strong,
no longer soothing; it fights to scatter me.
Winds build,moving that around me
in directions I can't control ...
driving me to which is solid to shelter.
your sweet arms,castle aginst the
Rain, massaging the earth with a cleansing kiss,
infers the peace to come.

For it confuses my world,
offering little more than delay,
slight respite from progress.
I stand the storm ...
feel the energy and smell the essence,
hear it's thunder, smiling in spite of it,
I'll bath in it's strong disobedience,
it's power, it's selfishness.
For the storms rule the sky, the land, and the lives;
without remorse.

Calming now, peace returns,
beauty raises her seeking eyes ...
and allows me all I require.
Safety in the calm as the storms move on,
safety in the quiet of her voice,
her essence,
her heart,
her warmth ...
strength through her worship ...
safe in my love.
