NFL Super Bowl 54 Pick This is it – the big game – the Super Bowl. My picks for the Super Bowl from the Championship game were correct San Francisco 49ers (13 – 3) v Kansas City Chiefs (-4) I’m not gonna do a statistical thing this year since these 2 teams seem be pretty evenly matched. Andy Reid’s aggressive offence featuring Patrick Mahomes versus a tough 49ers defense. I think, in the end, this will be a close game. KC has a tendency to fall behind in the first quarter, but they seem to make good adjustments and come back strong in the 2nd half. Something to watch for in the beginning of the game, Andy Reid is known for his scripting if the first 15 plays of the game. The script applies to first and second down only, and excludes red-zone plays. Here is a brief summary of how that works. One purpose for scripting is to gather intel. Even when the Chiefs’ early play-calling goes nowhere (as it has in their past playoff games), the amount of thought Reid has put into it means that every play KC runs gives them a chance to pick up a defensive tell that can off later in the game. The point being everything the defense does counter the Chiefs’ offense can, in turn, be countered. Reid and his assistants need quickly pick up these tendencies. This begins the moment the clock starts by noting who the defense puts on the field. His army of assistants, many seated high above the field in the coaches box, are also tasked with noting how defenses adjust his concepts post-, which can also lead a big later on. Also of note, if there’s a in the plan the quarterback doesn’t like, Reid removes it from the game plan. The Chiefs are favored. Weather is not a factor. Overall this seems like a good matchup. QUOTING REDROCK - I guess I read it wrong! I will re-read that part!!!! I did not see where all post and blogs had to be about sex.. no, nobody objects to posts about the stupor bowl, and thats my point. apparently, sports, humour and nature are okay, but if you post about politics, youll get reminded quickly and often insultingly, that "this is a sex site", especially by those on "that" one side who would suppress any info that contradicts what they think you should think. at least we can discuss football civilly, even when we agree to disagree as to who we support. lets hope that "agree-to-disagree" spirit doesnt evaporate come tomorrow. yeah, if only . . .  "well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will"

We have the six-nations rugby tournament going on over here at the moment. So I'll be watching that rather than the Super Bowl.

All one can say is that who ever loses, will just be the second best in the land, I know there is a lot of pull for the KC but we all know how good those boys from the West coast are, So I will wager you 2:1 that 49'ers win and will pay off at local bar with some Tenn Whisky , either George Dickel or Jack Daniels but just straight , non of this sissy stuff , with the real taste covered up with additives, just pour and enjoy!!! Go play ball.. no losers, all are winners.. Red, good luck with your CHIEFS pick your going to need it today against our number one Defense.. But it's all good because it's WIN WIN for me who ever wins today as I just hope it's a fun filled high scoring game and not one of those BORING slow games..lol..Go NINERS..
