Update: ADMIN: Review Problem And A Bit More

Y’all may recall the issues the site had on 1/11/2016 that I posted about: ADMIN review . I also posted to the SiteSupport blog that here were significant problems going on. It seemed like everyone had admin access – because they did. Lala put up a post as a test and I was able to delete it. The situation cleared up an hour or so later and I thought nothing of it after that.

Wordsmith/last_post responded to my post as follows:
”with any kind of luck, you might get one of those "I logged on using your ID but was unable to reproduce the problem" replies in about two weeks!
His account was later closed by the site.

He wasn’t as far off as I thought he might have been. I got 2 responses today 1/19/16 . . . 8 days later. I have placed in bold and/or red the interesting parts of their response. Here is what I wrote and their response today:

Are showing on ALL messages and responses along with some other ADMIN looking things

SiteSupport responded:
Thank you for the post. We are aware that the admin messages were showing for some members. Currently there is also a red using node banner for some members of IM.

All of these are from testing with new, upgraded hardware and I'm not sure how long they will be visible.

And

I wrote:
The words "ADMIN ONLY: PROFILE V2" are showing at the top of profile pages

SiteSupport responded:
Just a quick repeat. We are aware of the "admin-y" stuff that had been showing and the "admin-y" stuff that continues to show. I don't have an ETA at this time for when we can expect it all to be gone.

Note that things are “Currently” and “continues” to be going on. The answers are curiouser that the original issue. Hummm just sayin

They are making hardware changes so MAYBE things will improve.

 I don't find that they ever give very sensible answers to anything. It's obvious that something is happening....intentional or not....there have been other strange things happening and over the weekend comments were taking forever to appear on my "private comment" post....and when I say forever....some took 12 hours to appear.

I have to give them credit for answering some things I have asked them fairly quickly at times. But there are things being changed as they said - What? is the question. I had that same private box issue a while back and posted about it. It seems to have cleared up now. Let them know - maybe they aren't aware.
