A Few Site Notes and Questions 1) My slightly loony  buddy here JAFO has told his readers the “credit” card processor for the site(s) is now in Britain and does not accept US based prepaid cards [post 3738364] . So my question is: Will a/the British based card processor accept other prepaid/gift cards? Or maybe a European or British based ppd cards? Or . . . are there other work arounds?  2) Has anyone else noticed that the numbers of messages you can see in your ‘message center’ are limited, until you delete some? If you click on “Load Earlier Messages” link it does nothing, it seems dead now. Before ‘the change’ that wasn’t a thing. Is this part of the Standard member email thing or . . ? 3) Has anyone noticed that messages that are placed in your ‘private blog/mail boxes’ don’t show up for hours? Most responses show up fairly quickly but the one’s that go into my private “For Your Eyes Only” take hours and sometimes overnight for me to see. 4) An ”Ambassador” from my state sent me (a Standard member) an email the other day. If the ‘Ambassador Program’ is geared toward getting Standard members to pay why do the “Ambassadors” send email to Standard members who cannot read them anyway? Oh yeah, to rope in dumb ass people. This is the second one in a month and third in the last few months. 5) I also stated on one of JAFO’s posts that the “Quoted Me” page has been loading at “usual” speed now – after weeks of not loading quickly. It seems to be fluctuating from working as usual to loading very slowly. 6) BTW this place is a friggin’ gold mine for me to make smart-ass remarks and other twisted observances. It sucks that certain bloggers I have interacted with have scaled back or left altogether. 7) The site does do things right sometimes. They took down a post where a member with less then a significant level of integrity had posted hijacked pics of another member. Credit where credit is due. 8 ) If you want a lot of people to easily read your writings how about posting them in a font size that is easy for most people to read. On my posts I use #3, it’s not hard to do. 9) A question about making responses to people who have posted to your blog was asked. I found a little while ago that if you use the same message (for instance saying “Thank You”) multiple times when “quoting/responding” it will not be accepted into the system. If you change the message a bit, like “Thank You (name)” it will be. Not sure why this is. 10) People often ask about the various “glitches” (generally slow loading of pages, pics getting lost, IM issues, denied posts, etc. etc.) that happen on the site(s). Given the way things have changed around here (email and IM restrictions) I believe they are in a financial “bind”. So it is possible they can’t afford to do upkeep, or upgrade soft and hard ware, or hire or allow time for their employees to do those things. When these discussions come up I usually ask this question: Is there another “sex”/dating/communicating site with blogs? And add to that where you can communicate for free? No one has ever named one – feel free to name one for me. Oh . . . and just to tweek a certain blogger (a.k.a. IT) who has asked that the blogs be “cleaned up for the holidays” . . . fuck, piss, dick, pussy, cock, screw, anal, jerk off, butt plug. Hummm . . . I think the last 3 describe IT. SORRY, I FORGOT, RESIZED JUST FOR YOU! 1 Darn shame, don't know what to say 2 It's there still, somewhere, if you search for a phrase in an old email, it will come up, but you can't really load it or go back to that point in time, you can read part of it. Pisses me off, there were things I wanted to keep or still read, but dust in the wind now. 3 yup, even inbox is slow to receive messages, makes actually connecting with another warm body a bit difficult. I wrote to Kzoo while he was online, got tired of waiting for a response and went to bed, in the morning he sent a message and said he didn't get my message for hours. 4 Who's really the dumb ass here. 5 Yup, and no one has viewed me either, as if... 6 It's just not a whole lotta fun anymore. Isn’t the effect of the card change the same either way it is explained? On older messages my experience at this point is: If I click on one of the people who can communicate with me via the “message center” email I can see their messages. But if I scroll back to older messages, even ones from this year, I can only see so many until I get to the “Load Earlier Messages” link. That “link” is not working so no earlier messages, which are there, won’t show as they used to do. But, if I delete some of the newer messages some of the older ones will become visible. My slow private message posts came from both, people in the states and overseas. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I am new to reading, responding to and writing blogs....so I don't have a history to compare to....there are only a few bloggers that I regularly look forward to reading what they write. I hope bloggers that good that are being quiet or who have left, decide to start blogging again. When posting messages in the 'for your eyes only' blogs, it sometimes does take up to 24 hours for the messages to show up. Not so with other blogs. Keep up the smart assiness. We all need some of that in our lives  When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

BS is not just here. I had purchased a membership for a vanilla dating site for my daugher. She wasn't happy I did that...but that's another story. It was a great deal for 6 months. I didn't tell her to turn off autorenewal because the account number on my VISA debit card had changed so I figured they couldn't put the charge through because I didn't update the account number...well they could. Apparently, if you have a contract, these memberships are considered contracts, they can have an agreement with VISA to put the charge through to your new number without notifying you first. I appealed the charge with my bank and it was denied. BTW the other site doesn't even let you know who is standard or who is a paying member. At least here you know if you email someone if they can or cannot respond or even read your email or profile.  When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. I was all set to simply agree with the points you made, and mention that we've discussed them before, such as: where else can we blog the way we blog and interact here? That's really the nut of the issue for me. This HAS been a great site for social interaction, and I miss it when I can't participate. Put me down as one of the "complainers" then, because as much as I like the site, if I can't use it due to dysfunctionality, what use is it? And we've already exhausted that topic too- it's surely dysfunctional because they're broke, and they're likely to stay broke because they're clearly incapable of selling SnoCones in hell, let alone selling the prospect of sex to horny males. And as for IT, fuck it and the horse that rode in on it. It doesn’t sound like there are any other sites like this one that has blogs. I, in part, don’t pay because of the glitches. You can use a prepaid card. One of my friend from Germany was having troubles doing it and he got me to do it for him ..It is great you can get something for your points but you have to give up information about yourself to the site before this can happen. About the messages center...yes, I have over 300 messages on there that I can't access, it says click here to load but nuttin happens. I don't want to"come across"as a fully engorged penis"butt" I think you forgot "anal prolapse fisting".It's this very sort of language that makes a sex site almost unconsciousable. My new pet peeve today was; Your comment was denied due to........ hatred, bias, I forget exactly what it says. What did I say/post. Just this. Yes, just a smiley/grinning emoticon, and ABSOLUTELY no other words, pics, etc. and somehow this is 'hatred'. I didn't even have the energy to rant or deal with it.
