Food For Thought: I Can’t Tell You Why This song applies here because of a line (or two) in the song, which I have highlighted below. The interactions between people/men and women don’t have to be so hard. Food for thought  Also, I am on this site because of a woman, “MG”, and what happened between us – long story. When she was in pain (she has some tough emotional scars) or had a bad day I would hold her close, slowly move to the song with her and let her cry on my shoulder if that is what she wanted or needed. In an interview, Glenn Frey said that this and "One Of These Nights" were the two Eagles songs he helped write that he would put into a time capsule to represent the Eagles best work. Oh, the wisdom and experience I have gained from being in and out of love I wouldn't trade for any amount of money.. I just wish I had really listened closer to the words of this song and taken them to heart. I think I would have saved myself a lot of tears and grief. To this day, I still can get emotional when I hear certain love songs by The Eagles and also Chicago....the one you mention here is especially dear to my heart. I am not sure i will ever find a deep love again. (certainly NOT on this site) but i am sure open to it. I would love to be in LOVE again; next time I will use the wisdom I have gained to stay in love. In the meantime I will continue to have fun, dating and meeting new people for fun times. Thing is, I’ve never seen them live in concert – always way to $$$$ or sold out when they came around. I’ve seen Chicago several times – great band no matter who was singing.
