Adventures In Dating: Should The Series Begin

I’ve had some adventurous dates from here and in the past that were a bit . . . odd. There have been a couple this year and some from the past. One from the past was alluded to in up in the suny high desert , which I promised (or was it a threat? ) Mc I would foist upon, I mean tell, y’all. I call them “adventures” because what seemed simple and easy turned out to be ooohh lets just say unusual.

My definition of the term “adventure” came via an experience in moving. My friend Carl, a racing buddy and who is also a writer (creative and sometime verbose) used “adventure” to eventually describe the move (from near Palm Springs to near Sedona), which I helped his family with. When he asked (or was it conned? ) me to help him he said “it will only be a short 8 hour drive” and I would be gone for just a couple days. I have never believed his time or easiness estimations since then.

The move took roughly 5 of my days. It also included 1 vehicle left in Needles, CA, a stay in Kingman AZ (yyaaaawwwnn ), threats I had to spell out to a real estate agent, a condemned house and 2 nights in a vacation park. But I digress . . .

Two of the dating stories are from this site (a 3 part story because the 2 dates have a odd tie in). 2 stories are from my past, including the one I mentioned earlier plus one where Lala’s [post 3720803] reminded me of a dating ”situation” where the phrase, “We need to talk” started because of what turned out to be an unlikely meeting of people.

If hearing about these dating “adventures” interests y’all let me know. And NOO there will not be any kiss and tell, flying fluids descriptions – I don’t do that.

Ohhh great, now I have been Marandized (is that like marinated?). Anything I say can and will be used against me by any other woman who reads this.
