Public Service Announcement: Blocking Function Not Working I found out this am that the blocking function here does not seem to be working. I further found that some stuff was posted about me, which I disagree with. Evidently some people who responded to a post about me are now are under the impression that I “wronged” a blogger here. One responder said I ‘reverted to childhood’, and I am a ‘wimp’. All this without anyone knowing who the person is or what blog post (if any) it may have been about. Further, the blogger who posted emailed me to talk about the disagreement, but then ‘guessed’ I was ‘pissed off’ without me having responded to their email first. It is your right to say what you want, or make guesses – but that was an incorrect guess. As far as the judgmental responses go, I dislike, and have little respect for people who are judgmental. Especially when their judgments are based on little or no facts. The responder who jumped to those judgments did so without things like facts. To that responder: In my opinion judgment without facts is something that is “wrong with the world in general.” My suggestion would be to consider the following quote; “judge not, lest ye be judged.” It is in your bible. Judgments are more of a reflection on who the judger is. Some/most of the facts were not in the blogger’s first post about this issue, as I had not communicated with them at the time of their first post. In fact the blogger stated, “I have no idea what the problem is,” That is correct but they chose to post anyway. While I really do not think or feel I owe any explanation – for clarity I will say the following. My decision to not “watch” the blogger was not from being ‘pissed off’ as they assumed. Yes, the blogger left out that the HUGE, UNFORGIVABLE, HORRIFIC, OFFENCE was . . . I un-watched them. There are ways for me to see and participate in a blogger’s posts other than “watching” them. I do this with many other bloggers. Other bloggers have watched and un-watched me. Some who don’t watch me continue to participate in my posts. If a blogger needs or wants “watchers” that is fine, the “watching” function for me is simply a way to make certain tasks here easier. It is a function for convenience not a popularity or friendship function IMO. As the blogger indicated in their second post (posted around 2 AM while I was sleeping), I later replied it was “nothing to be concerned about” – because it wasn’t. The blogger evidently did not take that as being true and the next AM when I logged in I found I had been blocked. They had also removed them selves from my friend/fan thing. I’m good with that; it is not a necessity for my blogging or other activities here. Then they sent me a message, which I obviously could not read. The blogger knows standard members cannot read messages unless they are fans. The results of this are: A non-drama that was “nothing to be concerned about” became a drama and by not believing it was “nothing to be concerned about”: it is now less likely I will participate with either blogger. Or put another way: “I have no time or patience for games.” I learned who my “friends” are. The blogger’s judgmental friend/responder is not someone I care to have any further involvement with. Either person is invited to post up here. Your questions, answers or comments (agreeing or disagreeing in a respectful way) are encouraged and welcome. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. |

I know about which you speak and was totally taken aback as you two have always seemed so close. You did get my email with the winning Arizona Lotto numbers, right? Lotto numbers? That's not good about the blocking feature. Don't know what happened, but just stand your ground. a lot of petty shit goes on within this site. Kind of makes you wonder sometimes, doesn't it ?
