So... there I was minding my own business this morning... when it happened, again...

So... there I was minding my own business this morning... when it happened, again... So... there I was minding my own business this morning... when it happened, again... I was on FB reading and posting comments to friends and family... when... out of the blue... I got a message from the singer that posted on my wall last night... Well, I could not believe it as I was not expecting any further communication from Madelyn... and, there it was... no, she wasn't proposing to me... it was an innocent happy face that she sent... maybe, she was having a slow day... so, I texted her back a picture of a young lady shooting multiple "likes" to her... I stole that from another FB poster... and, she responded that she liked it... and, then, I told her that I had shared her "Beautiful Lie" song on my FB page... she appreciated that too... OMG... multiple messages back and forth... and, I've listened to five of her songs... she has performed with various bands... and, just needs that break to get noticed... then, I tagged another of my FB friends whom I also blog with on this site so that she could listen to the song... which she did... and, then, she commented on Madelyn's page letting her know that she liked it too... Madelyn responded to her as well... Now, I know to many of you this is just blah, blah, blah<b>... teenage </font></b>infatuation or groupie type band activity... but, not to me... I feel like I am addicted in a positive way to women and music... and, when creating my cds, I have to weed thru hundreds of songs to find that gem... And, Madelyn is singing to me now... "Don't you know it kills me to sit around so patiently Don't you see it's not easy the way you keep teasing me... I can't keep waiting, waiting for you..." FKJ - "Waiting" feat. Madelyn Grant I was feeling mighty fine after this interaction with a musician who's music I really like... And, so, I went to Winstar where my next positive experiences occurred, alas, not at the poker table... Two melonlicious breasted dealers were working today. I've known them for over 10 years... and, all the while we have chatted, but, they've been married or otherwise engaged... but, today... I don't know what was going on... stars were aligned, planets were spinning with the correct motion... they both, at separate times made their presence known to me... by reaching out to me... the first instance, happened when I was waiting for a table... Rachel, walked by, as she was running a tournament and, she said hello to me... and I said hi... then, a few minutes later, she asked me if I had lost weight... and, that I was looking good... I thanked her for her kind words... now, she's never said anything to me other than joking or chit chat from a poker perspective... so, I felt pretty good... now, she is an extremely fine looking woman... all natural... 100% USDA prime, and, everybody hits on her... But, I never have... hmm... note to self... Next up... Carla... she and I have had more conversations over the years... I do make her laugh... well, today, she comes over to me and hugs me... and, I ask her for the 10th time in 10 years, if she wants to buy me dinner... she says... you know I'm recently divorced... and, I said... yes, you told me... but, you still have to eat i said... and, she said, why did i always ask her on Saturday nights... and, I said, because, I play on Saturdays, and she happens to be there... and, she said, Saturdays, she spends with family... tonight, she was going to watch some UFC fight match at home with family... but, she said she should get my number for a rain check... What?????? hmmm... so, I was going to hand her my phone so she could type her number in... but, instead, she grabbed a sheet of paper and jotted my number down... within 30 minutes she texted me her phone number... let the games begin... I texted her back and said what's what... she said she had plans with grandkids the next couple of weekends, but, we should plan for something in August... hmmm... that sounded like an interested party to me... I look at opportunities as they come my way... and, this could pan out to be something nice... I mean... she loves cards, she's interested in men... and, she sees me... Today was a good day... Maybe, it's just the time of the season... All good things come to those that wait. You certainly are on a real ' winning' streak which hopefully continued while you were playing your favourite casino games. How about sending some of that magic dust north of the border? After all, 'sharing is caring'
