 Yep, standing water in the yard and everywhere else. If Noah would have left the mosquitoes off the ark would we really be any worse off without them? And the cockroaches, he could have left off a few other bugs as well. I'm just saying...

Enjoy Memorial Day weekend even with all of the rain.

thanks for your post...

I don't know if it really has been 20 consecutive days... seems like it has... we've had more rain than I've seen in the past 20 years... The lakes are cresting and water is being released at the dams that were 60% below normal for the past five years... so, it is a compounded issue... yes, we need the rain for our water tables... but, it is getting a little scary...

Yes, we have had tornadoes all over, but, not close to my neck of the woods.

And, I know the red river is pretty full these days. the last pic that I saw of a bridge just outside of Gainesville (5 miles south of border with OK) showed the stream (now a river) only 5 ft from the top of the bridge... and normally, that is a good 20 ft drop, with just a trickling of a stream...

stay dry and safe... unless it is planned activity!!! just sayin'...
