A light in the darkness

Sometimes when things are going really bad someone comes along and restores your faith that everything will be ok. This week my car (that I luved) got totaled. Went to visit a couple that I started dating and that turned out to be a disaster. No way I could ever deal with what they had going on. Finally today went on a date with a guy that had been seeing. Since only have a really junky rental he drove. We went to a restaurant (one have been to a bunch of times) and in the middle of it he laid into me. Started out by sayin how attracted to me he was but could never seriously date cause of his family and wantin , blah blah blah then started getting hostile telling me I was prob diseased and twisted. Finally he walked out and left me there with no way home. yh.. couldn't help it but started to cry. Suddenly this guy sits down at the table across from me and hands me a napkin. He knew my name already and introduced himself. Turns out he owns the place and told me he has seen me there a few times. He said he knew that I was TG. Asked me why I date such idiots. Told me that I was always welcome in his place, and complimented me a bunch. He reordered food and ate with me and even didn't let me pay. By the end he had me laughin and got me a cab (yh even paid for that). Said he wanted nothing in return other than I don't stop coming into his place. How sweet was that? There is kindness in the world sometimes.

Jessi

You probably know I wasn't surprised by the couple, although the details were a bit flabbergasting. Just let that one float away to join the rest of the flotsom.

I'm glad the evening turned out ok. That fellows critical inner voice was screaming at him, and he turned it on you. Please continue to be careful out there!
