The King and His Subjects

Many Kings have NO fear of being dethroned or overthrown for their crown. Do you think this is an EGO driven trait or just confidence in his subjects loyalty?

 An ego trait of course.
but most Kings can banish the few who may rebel, and replace them with new, eager subjects, willing to show their commitment in ways that may startle those outside of his kingdom.
