Virtual Symposium. Fun Friends With Benifits This story is a work of fiction. Kind of... I typed in “have a new project! You should stop by and see it” and hit send. As Karlie is coming up the ladder I start in on how I want to power this boat. “I have a vision for this power plant. I am hoping you can help me here? I want to put a three speed transmission with the old style Velvet drive through the bottom of the hull. I will close the transom where the jet was. I believe with the right engineering this should become a Ninety plus mile an hour boat. I’m hoping you have some good ideas on the power plant to turn all that. “ Karlie just stood looking at the boat thinking. I knew what was going through her head. The boat is 26 feet long low and sleek hull with a fast speed design. Putting a V-drive was going to change the interior a lot too. All this affect the choices or options that we pick. Knowing this I replied before she could say anything, “I don’t need an answer today, but I want to make this happen. She poured each glass and passed them around. I said to them holding my glass up in a toast, “Now that you are here I want to christen this boat. I had this decal made by a friend this week. I am going to put it on the hull after I paint. This project is being done by friends and I want to recognize that!” With that said, I held up the decal for them to see.
