When it comes to relationships...I'd like to believe growing fonder...Willing to bet most males will think the latter...Or what they don't know won't hurt them...Just my experience...I'll be in the Garage...

I tend to believe that "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" I guess I don't really belong on here, because when I care for someone is away from, all I can think about is how much I want to see them again, and how great it will be when they get back.

I think it depends on the length and strength of the relationship. A budding relationship can easily be "out of sight, out of mind". Someone that you're deeply involved with, when you're apart, you miss them and any "flaws" are glossed over and you become "fonder"

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

It generally makes a person grow fonder, up to a point
Past that point, I believe survival reflexes come into gear,
and the mind replaces, in order to forget
