From the top down
high above
or down below
you creep
along my spine
a rising flush
that permeates skin
mind
soul
girly bits
and all those
places between the lines
of thought, lyric, liberation
this vivid visage
a redeeming rosy glow
streams across
my face
when thoughts of you<b>
poems

imagined rhythms
and silhouettes
move in tandem
with your utterances
and flow
in the darkness
in the swirling of the storm
in the tempest
of my mind's eye
you are like a perfect
song
for me
moving
compelling
lighters lit
zen and all that jazz
that punk, that funk,
that rock and
roll on through me
I'm a junkie for all of it
and you
(en)trance me
lull me
inspire, fire and
rave me
I move with it all
because that's just what
you do
and I
can't
get
enough
ecstasy at a rave
is how it feels
(don't ask me how I know that)
but it's motion over time
and stillness all at once
spinning
whirling
twirling
a cacophony of lights and sounds
permeate my
senses
overload
and I'm on the floor
ceiling
top down
high above
and weighted
down below
