Orbit Over Venus Major Tom to ground control---come in ground control--do you read me??? ( crackling silence )... This is ground control-- what seems to be the problem up there-- over... ( a hurried response )..lm awaiting in comming comments for re-entry--therwise lm going to bounce off the outter sur--( end of transmission, a nervous crackling silence resumes...then )- ACHTUNG!--women of earth-take me to your bedroom.... One step out of the dark then into the black. It was as instant as that. At times like these l go right ahead and wish that l were in outter space...way back in the outter reaches where the Oompah-Lumpahs bump and grind..or sumpthin like that. They'd probably decline me by commity (dam consientious objectors ). Ha! no worries, um can l at least refuel the X-Wing..lm running on a tank half full here. Wait a minute. I know this far off junction, its full to the brim with heady verbose so churlish you could tie a carrot to it. By Jupiter! - the sign on the door says Welcome to Alice. But then the pre-early dawn<b> bullet </font></b>clink against my tin shack slumber re-deposits me upright and most probably again tomorrow. Ok got the Mitsi online good start, now down and around where the tarseal no longer knows my where-abouts and out onto the road. Hmmm l wounder what holding pattern those Star Destroyers have in-store for today...uh oh my R2 units bleeping again...av a nice day. |
