An interesting hug

I'm friends with this lady IRL who I see a couple of times a week and our friendship is strictly<b> platonic.

</font></b>Having said that, our relationship does involve a lot of flirting and the occasional dirty joke or double entendre. I was with her and a couple of friends on the weekend....we all went out to dinner together and had a good time.

After dinner my other friends left and it was just her and I alone in the parking lot. We talked for a few minutes and right before she left to go to her car she gave me a hug.

I was not prepared for it, this was not a chaste hug between two casual friends. She pressed her body up close to me and lingered in my arms. She unwrapped her hands from the hugging position and ran them down the sides of my upper body. I suddenly felt a rush of desire and endorphins.

We broke the hug and just looked at each other....yeah, it was one of THOSE kind of moments. You could cut the sexual tension in the air with a knife!

The moment passed and we said goodnight and went our separate ways. We talked on the phone this week and we are going to be hanging out again this weekend. I respect our friendship but now I want more...and she IS single and unattached.

So, I think I'm going to "ruin" our friendship and ask her out on a proper date. I don't think I'm jumping to conclusions and the signs are there...I need to pursue this because I am now sexually and emotionally attracted to her. I want her... and I think she wants me.

 I have a friend like that too - we always give these wonderful groping hugs to but have never been sexual past that. It is confusing.

It can be confusing.

My instincts are pretty good and the signs are there, so I'm going to try to take this to the next level.
