"Some guys have all the luck"!

When Rod Stewart wrote the song "Some guys have all the luck". 33 years later, I knew he "wasn't" talking about me. There are times when I feel like bad luck is tapping me on the shoulder. Over the years, I accepted what comes my way, I might not like it. I used to envy other, but as I got older, I said "Why"? I might not be the handsomest around. I know a many that has to be noticed or praised. There are many that has to be the center of attention. Maybe that's the key? I don't have to be notice or praised, I'm comfortable in my own skin.

I never been a finisher, there are times when I don't compete. I should! Knowing how the Tortoise won the race. I'm not lucky, and there a many of things I can't do. I'm the opposite of King Midas, everything I touch, turn into crap. I'm not complain or bitching , I'm just being real. I have two guitars and should learn to play one of them. I got my associates degree in 2001, never finish and wondered why I'm not in a great place in 2017.

I'm not a jack of all trade, not even a jack in any trades. I'm so-so with my hands. It take me forever to take a test. I'm not an "A" student, more like a B- or a C+ student. I don't have the luck of the Irish, probably because I'm not Irish? But I learned to accept what I have. I'm an average guy that has a 9 to 5. I'm a good person and a great friend. There are tons of things I can't do, but I cherish the few I can do. Maybe if I finished a race, maybe my luck would change? Who know?

But this is me in a nut shell, a 50 plus man, who several years from getting a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. A man that love god for creating women! I love to kiss, hold, have fun, dining and make love to women, not a player though. I guess, I'm OK in making love! A good father, grand father, and loyal to the ones I love and value! "Some guy have all the luck"! But I'm content with the little luck I have.

Riddle time: The Sun bakes them, the hand breaks them, the foot treads them, and the mouth tastes them. What are we?

ans: grapes

I've never been lucky with money but I have had heaps of luck in the friends I have made. My family are very good to me too. So I guess I'm pretty lucky.
