Ode to the New Year
Should bad first meets be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should gut reactions be fraught,
Some dazes can be unkind!



For there’s no grand design, my dear,
No grand design,
We’ll take a glass of wine, no fear,
Cause there no grand design!

This year we have not run around in bars,
And rarely put on clothes quite fine,
And we much prefer our shining superstars,
In outfits of decidedly naughty design!



We have done our share of missin’,
From the rise of the sun till it stops to shine,
But just cross a now closed border you can find misskissin,
To a great restaurant we shall one day dine.



And here’s a huge hand to NewBeginnings,
Who have graciously and mischievously lent a hand,
When a wabbit also had a new beginning,,
And things turned out so much better than planned!



And someday I’ll go out for a glass,
Picking the brain of an author!
Stealing her ideas with a touch of sass,
Debating which story is hotter.



Creating on the fly,
With wondrous words like writing jet fuel!
That lets us reach places on high,
The creativity and raw power of Jules!



When I’m needing inspiration,
Some well written words sure to feed my fever.
I can always find a seed of creation,
In the work of YogaDiva!

And if I am feeling a little blue,
And craving something funny.
Just one mouse click away, maybe two,
Takes me to my witty fwiend, SnuggleBuni!



New friends and old, all are rare gems,
For both I am grateful.
From the inventive and sensual kinkyfem,
To the universe’s favorite soul, Rachel!

I have been lucky enough to meet amazing femmes,
Who are so incredible, as all have seen!
Yes, I mean you sweet_VM,
And also redhotfun4you and hfxcpl4fun2015!



We can all agree that 2020 has been crazy,
And Covid19 has not been easy.
Don’t stop being you Cwazy,
And stay New Brunswick’s finest Daisy!



So after all that, I really just want to say,
Have a very Happy New Year!
And celebrate in your own special [socially distant] way,
Wishing 2021 to be a year of great cheer!
