From a Doms Point of View-The difference between a Sub and being submissive
Im the type that loves to research. Since being on this site, I would have to say its been a lot of research and revelations. In my past blogs, I have spoke about "sluts who love to fuck" but declines BBC. This post addresses The 50 shades bandwagon/ Rihanna's S&M song versus A true Submissive. I will honestly say before joining this site I didnt know what a sub or even submissive woman was. It took a week of reading profiles before I discovered that BDSM was real. Once I discoved BDSM I immediately joined the sister site ALT.com. Unfortunately, I did not have much luck on ALT, which made me doubt the true existence of the lifestyle. I know at this point most of you are saying that I dont understand how the lifestyle works, to that I will say, what I dont under is the false labeling/indentification.
From what I have learned, being submissive is a "in the moment" feeling.
I would compare it to a person doing a tandem sky dive on the weekend saying, "Im a paratrooper"
The tandem jump,shows you are adventurous.

Saying you like to be told what to do in the bed and being in restraints for picture purposes or quick play is being submissive(just submissive NOT very submissive) That doesnt make you a Sub.
With that being said a submissive woman shouldnt say she is into BDSM. Taking pics in restraints,clamps or spanking yourself does not show your level of submission .
There is no one alive that has fully submitted to themselves.(autoerotic asphyxiation)

In contrast: A Sub is someone who has given complete control of him/herself to another individual or group. When a sub is restrainted, he/he is not concerned with pics,he/she does not say after 5 minutes, "ok lets try this now" A true Sub's focus is service.
"what can I do to please you,Sir" Once in service or during a session, A true Sub doesnt talk or ask questions. Their main is concern is what you tell them to do. If you tie up a sub,she/he doesnt say "lets do this now", they patiently await the next command

True Subs are very rare and hard to come by. 🐘
Because of their pursuit and desire to please, they are rarely without a Dom/Master
For the sake of safety, please fully research before you give yourself a label
