 I intended to put in more options but somehow posted it prematurely. Oh well.
I think it is great and does not give me any negative feelings. Our sex has become wonderful as we have grown and learn to experience life.  I've read in several places that the orgasms that come about from masturbation can be more intense than those from intercourse. I recall some of the reasons given were that with masturbation orgasms, there is a lot less anxiety (performance or otherwise) and absolutely zero chance of disease or with women, pregnancy.

So it would not bother me a bit to find my partner masturbating. I think occasionally we do all need some "alone" time!
