Breaking the ice...

Breaking the ice... I guess this signifies my return to the world of blogging. Several years ago I was traveling and studying abroad and while I was gone, I spent a considerable amount of time blogging over at one of Senior Sizzle's sister sites (alt.com). To be honest, I really enjoyed doing it. At the time I was writing on a wide variety of topics. Of course, that was a kink site and so kink took up a lot of my blogger thinking. But, I also wrote about economics, politics, business, and other social commentary. At the time, the blogging community there was quite active and it was pretty cool to be involved in ongoing blog commentary - both giving and receiving. I’ve spent time at this site in the past and I guess I’ve used it for different purposes. I’ve met some interesting people, I’ve watched some entertaining cams, I’ve chatted with random people, I’ve looked at countless photos, and I’ve probably wasted far too much time browsing around! I haven’t actually been using this site over the last six months. Last summer I was lucky enough to meet an amazing, sexy, fun, and inspirational woman. Since meeting her, she’s given me more than my fair share of laughter, craziness, fun, and of course kinky debauchery! Recently I shared with her my old blog from alt.com)as I thought it would give her a bit of an idea of some of the more hidden parts of me. It gave the reader a brief glimpse into what made me into the person I am now. I guess she enjoyed it enough that she recently began to encourage me to start blogging again. My life has been full of all sorts of interesting twists and turns lately and I definitely have some fun stories up my<b> sleeve. </font></b>I thought a bit about it, but the challenge was trying to figure out where to write. For me, one of the fun parts about blogging before was the interaction with other bloggers and readers. But, I am inevitably going to write about things that I don’t want people in my ‘real life’ to know anything about! Then I realised that this is the perfect place to be. There is an active blogging community here, and I don’t have to censor myself for ‘friends and family’! So, there are a number of ideas that I would like to start writing about. - Polyamory and Ethical Non-monogamy. Ahhhh, this is a good one. For most of my life I thought I was broken. Now I have a partner who is on the same page as me and I realise that there are entire communities of people who think like I do! - Kink and fetish. It’s true, I am a hedonist at heart and I like to get up to mischief. I also like to think about and write about what got me there - Tantra. My partner and I have begun a journey down the tantric path. This has been one of the most enriching aspects of my life in the last six months and I’d like to share this part of myself, and maybe meet others on this same path - The world at large. I am an economist, a philosopher, a business thinker. So many fascinating things happening around us in the world each day That’s where I am at now. It may be a slow start, or maybe I will get some momentum with it quickly. Either way, I will be interested to hear feedback, thoughts, and ideas about what I write. Hope to hear from you! |
