It is the day of the year that many dread. Possible time to shelter in place at home to avoid the herds at the stores? It is Black Friday!! I have never gotten it, why is it so special. My impression is that it is commercially generated. What do you think? I wait for the dust to settle and will start my<b> shopping </font></b>next week. Much calmer and I think nicer people are and about. Is there Black Friday where you are? Do you take advantage of the day? If you do, what is the attraction for you?

 The Friday after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year. It's supposed to put stores 'in the black' financially. So - yeah - it's absolutely commercially generated and yeah - I absolutely avoid it.
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

 I worked retail fro 16 years. There is NOTHING and I mean NOTHING that could entice me out today. I am here working on another food so I can get all 12 zodiacs in before end of November
