I have observed that most of us live in civilized societies (more than a few of us not by choice ). As a result, there is a plethora (another cool but under used word ) of signs and directions to make our lives simpler. The concern for our safety and aids to traveling directly to our destination do make life better. Now we have some signs that are causing me alarm!. Have things dumb downed so much that we have to have signs that tell us so obvious things. I was once chastised by an older lady once for saying under my breath, but apparently it was audible 'no shit" when I read a sign . Maybe the lawyers need the signs so that they can have reasons to sue folks? Have you ever seen anything like these?

 Some of these are hilarious because things are so obvious.
My favorite though is dig bick. Yes I read it the right way as well as the next sentence which was also wrong. Now why can we read something correctly or is it incorrectly?
Is it just familiarity and the way things should be understood?

 But after seeing some of these signs one got to stop and really think on the signs which is actually commissioned by businesses and managers who the hell is stupid enough to actually make the signs for them ? That person is either laughing real hard or stupid enough not to realize what they are painting or writing..either way they get paid for it..

 Unfortunately, many people have to be instructed on the obvious: do not dry dog in the microwave (actually happened); container is extremely hot, handle safely, do not put next to skin (or words to that effect) - I believe this is what started litigation against companies when purchasers do something obviously stupid with a product, when a woman ordered a hot coffee at a drive-thru, then placed the open coffee container between her legs and drove off. OF COURSE the coffee spilled and burned her inner thighs. But she sued and won because she wasn't warned about how hot the coffee would be.

 The crazy thing about these signs is that they had to be put up because someone actually did some of these things, go figure.
