OH MY GOODNESS......You can't make this stuff up!! What a bizarre experience, and my guess got your blood pressure up! They found out the hard way, messing with the wrong guy, good for you pal,and bad for you. You were probably in a good mood before all this happened, and now puts a sour taste in your mouth with the holidays. Its a damn shame that you are pushed to the limits of a court date now, because of someone's stupidity.....

When fools make decisions! Classic over reaction to fears, doing somethings that allows the security manager can pat himself on the back. Were they going to record your information? Or do their clerks have total and complete recall of what the see? I'll just leave in invasion of privacy, police state USSR cold war type shit alone. Silly, Silly, Silly! Here's the thing, major retail chains have video surveillance systems that are tied to there POS systems. The systems are used to prevent fraud, and also to improving thier sales by tracking the routes you took through the store, and knowing which and how many of anything sold. Many systems can leverage facial recognition combined with criminal databases to serve as a early warning system and for post fraud analysis. There are even tool that try to analyze behavior as it happens. Retailers warn each other after any store in a given area is hit. The young fool security manager, obviously doesn't know or understand what they have, to realize the already have better tool in place. Maybe he was sleeping or busy posting another selfie on Instagram. Find pleasure in giving pleasure

That is one crazy store policy. It's great you challenged it. The Boston terrorists also wore clothes and bags but no store asks for ID when people want to buy these items.

more of how absurd our misguided reaction to threats from real terrorists has become. I have to stop before I say something that gets the "PC police" peeking in my windows
