+_+ Bullying ?  . After I retired from the military and went to work in the Corporate world, it become more clear to me that many Bullys in the work place were doing It to climb the career ladder. To me they were like shooting ducks in a barrel when they tried me on. My question (s),,, Have you been, or are you now a victim of bullying? How have you or are you coping with it? Do you support anti bullying efforts? Do you think that confronting a bully works?           |

I have never been bullied as an adult. Any childhood occurrences are lost to memory .... which makes me suspect they weren't successful attempts. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

I have noticed that most bullys are cowards. Going for what they think is the weak. Don't even try it with me, they will pay for it

People try to bully me at school when I was younger and also on this site. I am just happy I have some really nice friends on here who help me through it. It isn't a great feeling at all when your the victim. hugsssssssssss V Become a blog watcher sweet_vm

I was bullied in grade school because I was quiet and shy, and the kids thought that I was an easy mark. They tortured me for about three weeks until on the advise of my dad I took the biggest one and thoroughly kicked he ass. I wasn't a big fellow but I was mean and strong as hell back in the day. I don't advise this course of action now. But back in the late 60's it was the best course of action. Bullying is plain wrong and is only done by idiots who have low self esteem.

45 years ago,bullying was quite abundant in school. not recognized as a problem,not dealt with. confronting made it worse
