Ever have ~*~ One of those days? ~*~

I sure did. Got a call about 3am, my youngest godson was on his way to the hospital with a 103 fever. His parents called and asked that I go to their house and stay with the oldest godson. So off I went . I got the oldest up at his normal time , organized and drove him to school. Then I went to the hospital to check on the little guy. I relieved the parents so they could go home and get showered and get some breakfast. Not sure what was up with the little guy, his fever went down to normal, all tests were negative. By the time it was time to pick up the eldest, he was released and his parents took him home. Well, that disruption sure messed up my day. Do disruptions of your daily schedule mess up your day? I never seemed to get back on track all day.

You know Pal, my granddaughter has been ill since last Friday, first she was paralyzed sore neck, fever, vomiting..They tested her for spinal meningitis. They can't figure out what is wrong with her she was back in the hospital last night and they say upper respiratory infection and viral infection now..Then can't figure this stuff out..I wish I was there to help with the other kids..I don't mind at all being called for an emergency to help my kids..I sure miss it..

I am so glad that your grand son is okay and going home..I hope there are no more interruptions and you have a great weekend..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I find it more upsetting with the little ones now, than when it was my own kids. Should be a nice smooth weekend, Thank you

Yes, he is bouncing back and eating, so all is good. My major "issue" was no coffee!!! I shot out of the house without, and they are not coffee drinkers.

My daily schedule is nothing but disruptions. I'm glad to hear the youngster is feeling better. My daughter always spiked a high fever 102+ when she caught a virus.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

I just take life as it comes... Why fight things you can't control? There are always going to be unexpected occurrences popping up.
I never fight it, I just charge forward , mumbling bad words under my breathe

He is doing well. I am suspecting it is a virus, they sure do drag a lot of stuff home from school

I'm glad that your god son is okay. I try to take it one day at a time because I know there is always something that will pop up and change everything.
Thank you. I guess there is no such thing as a perfect plan

Not really... I'm not a schedule person, and my job has a crazy rhythm to it.

I'm pleased your godson is okay; it's always better to be safe than sorry.
My days go to plan until other people at work decide otherwise!
