Nanny State ~*~ Ban it all!! ~*~ Criminal Sledding  Wildly dangerous playground equipment  Dodge Ball  Playing tag in school yard  Flag football  Pick up basketball games at recess  Whiffle ball  Hugging or kissing. There are several under the age of 10 in this state that are registered as sex offenders for innocent kisses in class!  Boys wrestling on playground  |

It is getting crazy. I think some parents just don't want the responsibilities of parenting

Nothing like that in my area .... yet. We also rode our bikes all over hell and back with out helmets and knee/elbow pads. If we fell off and skinned our knees ... mommy put a Band-Aid on it and we went back out. That's not to say those things are a bad idea. We just never thought about it. AB No Bozos

That criminal sledding looks like wildly good fun, so do some of those other activities. In our 'Nanny State' (Country actually), we have some similar ridiculousnesses... Plain packaging on cigarette packs, we have to refer to Fairy penguins as "Little penguins" because someone thought gay people would be offended by the name. They were called Fairy penguins for over 150 years. The world has gone f*cking mad!

Yes, did all those HORRIBLE things, probably worse........sliding on ice across playground or snow! Lord forbid they jump from a second story ledge into a hay stack in the barn!!!!! We also got swats at school, too! From a huge paddle! Didn't seem to ruin us! And, you most certainly DON'T see that in schools these days! Would call the police for child abuse n parents would sue! Romance her heart, tease her body, enjoy the company shared in bed n out! Treasure every moment spent together, in good times n bad! I think governments are retreating from the big problems like managing the global economy and maintaining global security, and focusing on the little problems because they can!

Pal, it does seem they are fining people for the silliest of things lately. If they are going to make such laws and enforce them, I think they should legally make designated areas for the kids to enjoy themselves then..Things are so different today than when we were kids we could go any where and do anything it seemed..I think they are over reacting on many things these days..Have a wonderful day.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

It seems that the world has gone crazy banning such things. We have the same playground and stuff in your pics here in our park. We just don't get the snow you guys get.

Wow, that is crazy... might as well ban being a kid then. I hope there are no Olympic luge or skeleton facilities in NJ, because the just got put out of business then, since they are technically another form of snow sledding... just faster.Find pleasure in giving pleasure
