Page 4 of Hot fun sun and sex in Puerto Rico Even with the small tropical storm going through yesterday, was still nice on the beach, if you like overcast and rain  . Had a short power outage last night. I was fortunate to catch up with a friend, we have known each other for many years and she is a neighbor in the building where my apartment I own is located (not where I am right now). Had a little beach time, but mostly was out and about helping folks as they get ready for the wedding that is the original reason I am here Here is something that bites the unaware tourist driver in the butt every time. Speed bumps. approximately 3 feet wide,,sloped up to a walkway about 18 inches wide. The hieght at the walk way is about 9-12 inches. A real show stopper if you are not aware. [image]

Good points. Since I am referring to the Isla Verde area, this is the case. I have been on the island off and on as a property owner for almost 30 years, and recently assisted in preparing part of a training program for a unit of the Metro Police, so I am very familiar with the driving conditions through out the island. Comparing the behavior of the police in PR with that of Philly or NYC is woefully inaccurate, the cultures, general lack of respect for police here and training almost makes the comparison "apples and oranges". I would, but is not YET practical for me with some of the obligations I have back in New Jersey with family and friends. But I do see very soon a "split" type of situation when I downsize my home in New Jersey.
