Does this apply to older or younger more?

We’ve all heard that line, right?

Personally, I think it’s more of a younger person’s mentality.
‘Up all night sleep all day.’

Being older, I am a morning person now. I feel much more energized in the morning after a good night’s sleep. I think better, I’m more alert; I work out in the morning time.

Some of it I’m sure is caused by my work schedule which are mid shifts, and of course my wife works days and I’m sure would share the same feelings in regards to morning over night.
Sleeping in for both of us is usually 7:30 AM, and I’m afraid to say what times we may hit the hay in the evening sometimes.
That’s kind of scary when I could and can remember as a younger guy sleeping into the afternoon before rising.

So, how about you all.

Morning or night person(s)?

As I've gotten older I find myself being more of morning person. As a kid in my teens you would have needed a stick of TNT to get me out of bed before noon. In my 20's and 30's I did the bar scene every weekend and slept late, come the mornings usually getting up around ten or so. In my 40's a averaged out getting the required 8 hours of sleep at night while still being able stay out later or up later. Now a days I'm in bed by 11 most nights, sometimes earlier and up at the crack of dawn. I'd love to sleep in, but my body has made it's own decisions regarding how long I sleep now. It's hell getting old, next thing you know I'll start wanting to hit the early-bird specials a 4:00 for dinner and wearing my belt line around my chest. LOL

I'm a night owl, but unfortunately my work schedule turns me into a daytime person. I have to be at work at 0415, so I'm up at 0300 to get ready and then drive. I find I really do get more accomplished in the daytime - I'm far lazier if I don't get up till afternoon.

Maybe I need a cabana boy? LOL
