Rope 'em, shoot 'em, stuff 'em, and mount 'em

Rope 'em, shoot 'em, stuff 'em, and mount 'em

I've looked at a lot of profiles since joining, and I've found that there are generally three kinds, at least from a male perspective.

1) The Eye Candy

This covers the majority of female profiles. Typically, there's some kind of eye-catching picture. It's enough to get you to click on someone, but the actual profile doesn't contain much substance. If you're lucky, there are a few explicit pictures. I'm convinced these profiles get responses by the hundreds, because it's easy to assume that a woman who posts naked pictures of herself is an easy lay. I tend to enjoy these profiles, because I tend to really love naked women, but usually a few pictures and one or two sentences isn't enough to pique my interest.

2) The Shadow

These ones sometimes have pictures, and sometimes don't. What they do have is no information whatsoever. You know:

"Want to know something? Just ask!"

"I'm looking for fun"

Or even worse: the generic, auto-generated garbage. I'm convinced these profiles don't really exist for more than an ego boost. I'm sure everyone loves getting emails and feeling wanted, but it's really tough to believe anyone not willing to put in the effort on themselves is willing to put in the effort towards anyone else.

3) The Honest

Obviously, these are the ones I typically send a message to. They're pretty rare, because they usually have more than just a picture that's worth clicking. These women have taken the time to describe themselves. For those of us who enjoy chemistry, a personal description offers far more insight into compatibility. Physical attraction is clearly important, so pictures are useful, but what someone's body looks like doesn't tell you how they use it or how you'll mesh with another person. That comes from communication, and communication comes from the mind first.

4) The Siren

Yeah, I said there were only three. So what? There's a fourth, even though I've only seen one. This one is a siren in the mythological sense. You know, the ones who lead sailors to their doom thanks to their irresistible song. You don't expect to find someone like that on a site like this.

But when you do, you have to send them a message. These are the kind of women who get bonus points for words like "pique."

Of course, on the opposite side, I'm sure there are two male profile types: The Dong and the Not Dong. Sometime's we're so predictable.
