 Female half of the couple here...

I work in retail management. The only reason I get up early on Black Friday is if I am scheduled to work. Fortunately, this year I was scheduled to be off. Unfortunately, I had to work from 3 PM to midnight yesterday, on Thanksgiving. And it was miserable.
