 I am still formulating an opinion on this. Some have transitioned so much to the point that going into the restroom of their birth gender is dangerous to them. Some clubs have gone to the point of making their restrooms gender neutral (only stalls) to avoid this issue. There are always going to be people that will take advantage of such a law to perpetuate their sick desires rather than just relieve themselves and leave. However, are we going to maintain the status quo because of a few sick individuals? If we considered that to be a valid argument, then many laws available today would not exist since there is always someone willing to break or get around them. I would hope that instances where this becomes an issue are very few so that the majority of us can feel safe in that kind of environment and society can come to understand that the transgender community has no ill will or evil wishes toward them. Thanks for your comment. I too hope that nobody takes advantage of this personal accommodation that has been set for transgender. I still believe that since their seems to be a great amount of ppl now deciding to change their gender, than they should just build a bathroom just for them.

 So basically you feel that a predator WASN'T already doing this? That "they" needed this special permission to do so? Have you ever questioned the gender of someone entering or exiting a bathroom? Just mentioning this as a different perspective to think about.

I have never seen a man enter a females bathroom, otherwise I wouldn't have sent my children to the bathroom alone. Its not that they needed this SPECIAL PERMISSION, just that we live in a country where ppl take advantage of situations, because they are aware that some grp is always going to defend them or their behavior. Such as the Human Rights Society.

That's the way I see it, but it seems that in this policy some rights were not taken into consideration, such as that of a child.

 this will not change people that are sick. they are going to prey upon others. this does NOT make it any easier for them.
i do not care who is in the bathroom in the next stall. if someone is looking over the top to see they are probably going to be arrested for looking.
if someone is transgender and dressed one way but have to use the bathroom of their original sex some would complain about them being in the wrong place. they lose either way. stupid laws have made this an issue that never needed to be addressed.

That's what I see coming...making it easier for predators to seek their prey. The problem with this delicate situation is that if a person were to complaint about a persons awkward behavior while in the bathroom, the suppose transgender may act the part of being bully or disrespected and turning the situation to come out benefiting him.

How often have you seen a woman go into the men's room? And not because the woman's bathroom is packed or out of order. I mean I am sure that its a different situation for the man, they will be having females that consider themselves man hanging at their bathroom. Man are going to love this.

 Bathrooms will be a thing of the past just like water foundations and free air where you pump your own gas now . . No business owner likes to pay to have the damn things kept clean in the first place much less having somebody duke it out over who goes in which bathroom . Mark my words in ten years you will be saying to yourself you know that Otis guy was sure right about the public bathrooms .

 No matter what, people are going to be or do evil things, it is sad but true, Sometimes when they make laws they don't always think about all that can and will happen, they just want to get the people off their back and when it election year you get a lot of laws without thought.

Thanks for your comment. That's exactly what I am saying they do things because ppl whine and act up and w/o a second thought to the consequence they ok a bill. They say its a democracy yet I don't recall woman voting on this or man for that matter. I think some of the ones that feel its not an issue and believe that this has been happening a long time, it hasn't. I recently starting hearing from coworkers that its in their gym and I've heard some woman complaint. I appreciate your response.
