Wet as can be,

Just as luck would have it, it finally got dry enough get in the field, I was able start with my field work and was about a quarter of the way planting. I got four inches of rain last week, and another and a half yesterday. Looks like it will be another week or better before I can start again. I figured with the yield loss now, it's costing about 00 dollars a day in yields. Here is a picture of river bighammer. Ha ha

wow sorry to hear i used to plant a big garden and we used to plant our own grain but always something hindering us so we stopped doing that ..hard work of planting wasnt paying off ..i bought horses and trained showed and bred after that...easier just to turn them out where ever they needed to crop the grass...hope things work out for you...I let my friend use my barn for woodworking projects ..we gutted the big barn tore out stalls and sold the horse tack ...

I am not really worried, ha ha I will have it done in 2-3 days when it dries up some. I really have until about the tenth of July to get the soybeans in and still make a crop before the frost. Have a great day

And your pic of "river bighammer", (love it's name!), looks like the stream near my house when we have plenty of rain and it turns into a raging river Big! Hope your field dries soon, but in the meantime, better to be "wet as can be" another way, eh?! Have a great weekend!

It should be dry enough to get back in the field in a few days. At least on the high spots. Ha ha. In the bottom ground I have water pretty close to the surface which is nice in a dry year, but I have been extra wet for almost two years. Have a great weekend
