Wet and Nasty

A 40 degree F or 5 degree C morning, wind blowing like crazy and raining, not how I want the weather, so use the hot tub and take what comes along. Not any progress with harvest, the ground is muddy, and the grain is too high in moisture to keep without spoiling. Have a great Dec. Everyone

Hot tub is always a good choice!
I have a friend who drives a truck for a farmer. Took them an extra 2-3 weeks for the harvest because of the weather. He said it had never taken so long before.

Yep, I stretch out in the hot tub, the heat helps loosen my body up, I still have all my corn crop out in the field, it may be next spring if this weather doesn't straighten up. Ha ha

Yes it has been a year from hell for agriculture, I only have enough storage for half of my corn crop, which really doesn't matter if I can't harvest it. I watch a couple of Canadian farmers on YouTube, I have noticed the price difference in inputs and income on ag products. Everything seems higher on the Canadian side. We are on hold now for bringing cows in to graze the field edges and corn stalks. Hope you can find some extra pasture,😘

I finally finished soybeans and have gotten started on corn, with any luck I will be done before the end of the year. Ha ha we had a high wind blow for about 24 hours, fifty mph plus that blew alot of the corn down, so I am having to go about 2 miles per hour to harvest. Ha ha like I always say, if it was easy everyone would be doing it. Ha ha.
The beard does help keep my face warm, but I guess it could have other benefits

I'm envious. My hottub had an issue which sparked another issue and so on. Stupid domino effect. I think hubby got it functioning again today. The water is heating. I have my fingers crossed.
