C'mon...there's no "schedule" when you're retired!  Sounds like the new place is in a perfect spot. I'm sure fun will find you soon enough. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Well the fun begins when you say so. You have the lay of the land and you know it’s not that far to go. I say hit the corner bar when the Twins are playing. Baseball is such a great game to watch because you just sip your beer or wine and expound on mindless fun facts just like the TV announcers So play ball! [post 4239866]

Way to go! I've still got a long way to go on the unpacking...though the essential stuff is unpacked. I envy all the places you can walk to, that is awesome! My daughter & son in law live in an area where there are lots of things to walk to. I enjoyed that when I visited with them. Hard to keep up at times - I have to either move faster or schedule less when I'm in control - and being in control is something of an illusion.
