But what will you do when it is all done? I KNOW - more walks through the new hood, with that doggie bait as a conversation starter!

Poor Whoppers. I bet he's lonely.

Ugh, our two main choices here for internet both pretty much suck from a customer service standpoint. About once a month on my neighborhood page there is a rant thread where both of them get ripped.

That reminds me - an internet broker who I talked to last year said my only way to get my rates down would be to outright cancel - then they'll start holding out the carrot to get me back. Next Friday would be a good time to do that, right before I go on vacation for three weeks!

One thing is certain in life, and that is change... whether it be by choice or not. Change can be a very good thing if you let it. Good luck to you in your new place, and new neighborhood!

>> The tech who came today was a fifty something year old woman who totally knew her shit.

That's awesome. I know a 'cable guy' and I'm pretty sure he's great at his job as well. I guess when I said 'customer service' I was referring to prices. I got a reasonable deal when I moved four years ago, since then once a year they increase my rates and tell me I have to decrease my speed if I want to keep paying the same amount.

I've never had the pleasure of living completely alone yet. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to it!

In case you were jonesing for some more wire wrapping to do, seeing as how you're just lazing around in your new digs, I've got a new stone from my last trip to send you. Kidding, let me know when you think you'll have time, there's no hurry, I like looking at it as is too!

Going back to where you lived before can be such a blessing. Best wishes on your new home!
