Another Valentine's Day Is Done

So, Valentine's Day. Is it a chance for you to be with your favorite lover, and treat each other to lots of "sexy naked fun time"? Is it a chance to show how much you love someone? A bit of both? Neither?

I have always been a big fan of special days - with no special meaning other than what you give it. And, I'll admit - I have done the flowers/chocolate/card thing for my wife for years. She used to love getting roses delivered to her at work.

For th past few years, she really hasn't done anything special for Valentine's Day, and she kept pushing me not to as well. So, finally, I thought, this year, I'll finally giv in - no card, no flowers, no nothing.

So what did I do? Bought a card and, for my gift to her that evening, I spent the evening doing the laundry and preparing a simple dinner. Actually, I think this gift was more successful than the long lone of cards and flowers: I think she was touched by my gift, and really enjoyed not having to do house work that night.

What is the perfect Valentine's Day gift for you? If you could get that special someone to do exactly what you wanted them to do for you, what would it be?
