Cheating
I had an indepth conversation with my cousin about if the person your with offers themselves to you and you go off by yourself and jerk off your figuratively cheating on that person and hurting that person at the same time.

Would you agree or disagree with that statement.

 I disagree. From what I gather if that person goes and jacks off alone, sure they may be thinking of another image but the fact that they haven't strayed with another person in person so to speak means they still think of the sanctity of the relationship with you. As Jimmy Carter once said that he lusts in his heart for others, but the actual act he never did. Or maybe when they jack off they are thinking of you as well.

By saying no to the person and playing by yourself you are having an affair with yourself an not including the person you are with.

I can see your point about staying faithful and not going out but there would be bigger issue at play if he is rejecting the person in the first place would you agree

 Masturbation isn't cheating. It's a personal release, and as long as the couple still has a healthy sex life, then there shouldn't be a problem. If someone sees that as cheating or a threat to their relationship, then they are extremely insecure.

 It's not cheating, but it's still unhealthy for the relationship.

Although there are occasions (really harsh sinus headache, for example) when I might decline when my wife is in the mood, I'm certainly not going to run off and beat it.

I'd much rather have sex with her than beating it anyway, and she's so often in the mood that I haven't beat it since we met. She wouldn't be upset if I did, but after four and a half years it seems like a record worth continuing; it's not like I'm missing out if she's that often in the mood. (I'm not upset if she needs seconds before I'm recharged and takes care of it herself, but usually we'd both prefer that I treat her to oral anyway, so she doesn't do it that much. If the battery in her vibrators go dead, it's more likely that it's because rechargeable batteries slowly lose charge when not used than because because they've been used a lot.)

She definitely enjoys it, but I love it too, so it's not like I'm doing a chore. The only time when I wouldn't want to give oral would be if she was had her period (or some other reason to taste not-so-good). Often I don't because it saves time, or just because she wants me inside right away, but I consider it part of the fun.

We have a euphemism: "I shaved" means "I trimmed away the stubble on my chin so it won't scratch when I go down on you."
